Lucid dreaming (8)

Hi,
So I've been trying to learn how to lucid dream for the last few days. So far, I've only achieved it once, and I don't know how I did it. Contrary to what I've read, it was stable enough and I didn't wake up immediately, and I even summoned a dream character (a friend of mine), who was aware, like me, that this was real.
The rest of the time, I seem to accept the dream and not question it: I don't ask myself how I got there, nor try to go through my palm with my other thumb, nor try to breathe with my nose and mouth shut, although I do some of these like every four hours or so, or when I remember.
Anyone here wants to share his / her experience?

Obvious errata: "[He] was aware, like me that this was[n't] real", "although I do some of these like every four hours or so [when I'm awake], or when I remember".

Unfortunately, lucid dreaming is not something that you can learn in just a few days. It's definitely an awesome experience, just make sure you don't overdo it, because your body needs rest, too. When you are lucid dreaming, you are certainly not resting.

I know it requires a lot of time. I've just started with it so I didn't hope to get results that soon.

Luckd dreaming is really really hard. If you can do it, I respect you. The only thing harder than lucid dreaming is episodic dreaming--done intentionally that is

Hi,
Just commenting to share two stories. First, I had a dream which, at the time, semed rather significant. Unfortunately, I didn't write it down, so now I don't remember it, nor the reason why I thought so.
Second, I had a really weird lucid dream, where I knew I was dreaming because I alternated between two rooms instantly multiple times, but couldn't wake up nor do anything else, except talk with my brother in the second room. Somewhat scary.

Two women had been having a friendly lunch when the subject turned to sex. “You know, John and I have been having some sexual problems”, Linda told her friend. “That’s amazing!” Mary replied, “So have Tom and I. We’re thinking of going to a sex therapist”, said Linda. “Oh, we could never do that! We’d be too embarrassed!”, responded Mary. “But after you go, will you please tell me how it went?”
Several weeks passed, and the two friends met for lunch again. “So how did the sex therapy work out, Linda?”, Mary asked. “Things couldn’t be better!” Linda exclaimed. “We began with a physical exam, and afterward the doctor said he was certain he could help us. He told us to stop at the grocery store on the way home and buy a bunch of grapes and a dozen donuts. He told us to sit on the floor nude, and toss the grapes and donuts at each other. Every grape that went into my vagina, John had to get it out with his tongue. Every donut that I ringed his penis with, I had to eat. Our sex life is wonderful, in fact it’s better than it’s ever been!”
With that endorsement Mary talked her husband into an appointment with the same sex therapist. After the physical exams were completed the doctor called Mary and Tom into his office. “I’m afraid there is nothing I can do for you,” he said. “But doctor,” Mary complained, “you did such good for Linda and John, surely you must have a suggestion for us! Please, please, can’t you give us some help? Any help at all?” “Well, OK,” the doctor answered. “On your way home, I want you to stop at the grocery store and buy a sack of apples and a box of Cheerios.”

Anyone play Tabletop RPG's Around here? (2)
1 Name: dorkyBlindy : 2018-06-04 03:01 ID:yUFtUK8+
Subject says it all, do any of you folks play tabletop RPG's via Skype or other places? Particularly D&D 4th Edition or Star Wars Revised.

I haven't been playing for ages, but it would be awesome to find an active group, even if I have to relearn the rules, haha.
I used to play a custom one in high school, I wish we had my character still, but it got obliterated by a demon fire mage.
Any website to earn money through Paypal or giftcards (preferably global, or which includes Spain)? (4)

Hi,
So I'm looking for some site to earn money in my free time. Don't point me to those paid-to-click (you click ads or you download an app and you get paid), nor survey completion sites (I find them rather inaccessible). Unless you know some really good ones, of course.
Some online job (which could be done by a blind person, like transcription or translation, and wouldn't require much experience) would be great (does such a thing exist?). Perhaps maybe technical support could also fit me, I don't know. Has anyone had any luck with these sort of things?

Hi,
It's me, again. I assume that nobody here has any idea. But... has anybody tried http://prolific.ac ? It seems rather accessible, the only problem being there seem to be no studies to which I qualify :( .
3 Name: Anonymous : 2018-03-05 17:56 ID:uYC/4s5M
I disagree with my past self >>2 . I cannot request a payment in prolific, and the studies thing seems to be broken, it gives me false positives.
4 Name: Anonymous : 2018-04-25 16:16 ID:wUAhhuY6
which could be done by a blind person
Oh are you blind? That certainly limits what you can do for these sites. I was going to suggest patreon since many people do comics or art in their free time. Perhaps, since it would take so much effort to do art when blind, you could write stories through patreon? I'm sure plenty of people would pay for even mediocre fanfiction if it's about a scenario they're interested enough in.
Question about free domains (like this one) (5)
1 Name: Anonymous : 2017-11-30 07:31 ID:TqhLB0FN
Hi,
I've heard that .ga and .tk domains (I don't know if any other) are free. I've also heard that if you don't manage them, or enter in them for a certain time, they "park" them (between quotes because the revenue is not yours) and fill them with advertisements. Is this true?
2 Name: Anonymous : 2017-11-30 09:19 ID:dHQguJaK
It is, unfortunately. One drawback of Freedom.
Otherwise they provide a great service, and they give you free tk, ga and cf domains.
3 Name: Anonymous : 2017-11-30 09:53 ID:TqhLB0FN
So what must you do to retain your domain?
4 Name: Anonymous : 2017-12-01 06:42 ID:dHQguJaK
If your site works, due to a static IP, then you have nothing to worry about. If you don't, you must ensure that the dns records are up to date.
I just murdered my mom (2)

Hello guys I jjust murdered my mom, she was in the kitchen doing her own thing -the thing that all women should do- and I just felt this urge and I heard a voice in my head saying kill, kill, so I grabbed a knife and ran it across my mom's throat, now I feel really bad.. Please help, I hear sirens outside my apartment and the cops are coming after me, should I try to find a church or something? Is any of you willing to provide shelter? Please!
2 Name: Bad Cop, Good COp : 2017-12-05 08:58 ID:fAm+gX/B
Well, well, I think you are in trouble. You should've let her do the thing that every women do in the kitchen: play Candy Crush. Don't forget to ask Siri about where you can hide the body, as well as watch this video for more information:

An interesting read, certainly. I think the key is going progressively: you start small (with sitting posture, discipline, etc.), and you go progressively bigger. You also unite people, create a group, a sense of belonging. I believe not everything stated here is bad, I believe that discipline (always benevolent) and community are good. Once you stop there, I think that a classroom, a workplace, a group, may benefit.

Google is your friend, there are a few out there. The problem is that they are spammed to hell and back, and of course their community is nowhere as nice as this one. That reminds me, this place needs more people and more interesting things to talk about.
